Re: yearning 4zs therapy -- not going well!
I would also increase to start pressure from your 4, 1cm at a time, till you are up to your treatment pressure. Life will be easier once you are use to pressure.

Re: yearning 4zs therapy -- not going well!
It's up to you, just be assured you will get use to the pressure. You can raise 1cm at a time, till you get use to it. You raise min pressure till the OA and H settle. At 5-5:30 the pressure was lower and you leak wasn't good. If you are mouth breathing, I would consider a mask that also covers the ...

Re: yearning 4zs therapy -- not going well!
You will get use to the pressure. It looks like you might be leaking or mouth breathing with a nasal mask? If it was my chart, the pressures are too low 8 15 might be better. I would also increase the start pressure from 4 at 1cm a day till you are up to your treatment pressure. it's just a bit quic...

Re: S9 Adapt pressure support cutting in and out
A shallow breath and the machine not triggering into the ipap ? There has to be enough flow to trigger the machine for a spontaneous breath. The machine follows minute vent and initiates a breath if needed. The trigger on the resmed asv isn't adjustable. I don't think the trigger on the philips asv ...

It's an auto machine, your needs change as the pregnancy goes along. It sounds like it is delivering more pressure to keep your airway open. What adjustments did you make to your machine.

Re: S9 Adapt pressure support cutting in and out
I know that you are concerned. I can see the V shape pressure drop to 9 that you are referring too. I have no explanation. It would be back to the DME. Who may have an idea, but may refer to resmed for an opinion, probably at a cost. Repairing a 5yo machine may not be worth the exercise in cost bene...

Re: S9 Adapt pressure support cutting in and out
You are looking at the peak flow in the flow chart, at the bottom on the wave. The exhale is still going, till you inhale. The other factor is that the charts may not exactly line up. does that really matter. Pressure is a bit averaged and mask pressure is at that moment. as an example. Turn off the...

Re: New auto-SV user checking in
Were you lab titrated? It does take a lot to get use to ASV, It's a lot harder than cpap. The min epap4 is default, as with the min PS4, the max PS has been reduced and I can't see the max epap on oscar. This is the philips titration guide https://www.sleepapnea.com/downloads/1002159_Titration%20Pro...

Was it second hand? It would also be a good idea to do a default reset on the machine. This will take it back to out of the box settings. Then input your pressures

Re: What to do when all methods of sleep apnea treatment are exhausted?
I would try 13cm, The dream station is slow to respond. CPAP isn't a magic wand for most people. It took 3 minths for me to adjust and my first effect was that I wasn't as sleepy in the afternoon. I have the older System One 60 Series. I am thinking about the Resmed machine if I replace mine. I wou...

Re: New auto-SV user checking in
ASV is a sharp learning curve. I think it's one of the hardest machines to get use to, because of the pressure shift. Give it a month. You really need to keep your mask on. You aren't getting decent sleep with it off. It will also take longer to get use to. Exhaustion, can help you sleep with it. I ...

I would also check for a leak on the humidifier seal.

It's easy for people to use the wrong name, it is frequently done and why I asked "If you still have the philips dreamstation in the picture."

If you still have the philips dreamstation in the picture. I don't know if ResSan will read it? It will be interesting to see. Please stop posting nonsense... or just stop posting at all, please. Res SCAN is a Resmed product, no, it won't read Respironics data. Don't tell me, fool. Tell pugsy "If y...
