Pilairo adjustable headgear with Brevida mask?

Post by jagzoo » Tue Feb 20, 2018 11:12 am

Hi,
Has anyone tried using the Adjustable headgear for the F&P Pilairo mask with their Brevida mask? It looks like the clips might be the same. That headgear looks like it would be more stable than the one that comes with the Brevida. If someone can tell me if the clips will attach, I might buy one and try it.
Thanks for reading!

Isn’t there anyone that has used both the Pilairo/Pilairo Q and the Brevida masks? I’m wondering if the clips on the headgear straps are the same size, making the headgears interchangeably.

Hold on. I went into the bedroom to get my stash box out and then got side tracked and didn't look.
I think I might have both masks but obviously my memory sucks.  Sometimes I wonder how I remember my own name.
Let me see if I can remember it long enough to open up the stash box. Be right back....hopefully.

Well the memory just half assed failed me. I can't seem to locate the Brevida but I did find the Pilairo Q.

I can't put the 2 together to confirm or not. Sorry.
I will keep looking though.

Thanks Pugsy. I appreciate it. There isn’t really any hurry - just thought I would try the other headgear to see if there was less slippage. Just tangles my hair some. Whenever will be fine.
Thanks again.

Good question, they sure look the same and the Pilario does look more tweakable. I'll know in 2 days (AMZN Prime) if nobody else advises you.

I’ve ordered one also, so we both will see if they fit, and if so, how they work with Brevida - and report back to the group. Good luck,

OK, have the Pilairo headgear - both the adjustable and the single stretchy strap. The clips do attach but are smaller and don’t clip in as securely/tightly as the one with the Brevida. Will try the adjustable one tonight with the Brevida to see if it stays on and tangles hair less. Will update.

Those do look like different clips on the adjustable one (the one I wanted to try) and more like the ones on the Brevida.

They do fit but are narrower and more shallow. I’m going to try it tonight and will post how it went.

Y'know, it looks like those clips will slip right off the straps to be installed onto the other strap . . . if the width is right, that is.

Mine just arrived, and the clips went right on. They're just a bit looser, but they did snap on and I don't expect them to fall off without me taking them off. I'll see tonight if it helps with adjustments, looks like it will. Exchanging the clips is a no-go, the Pilario straps are wider than the Brevida.

Would love to know what are your findings after few nights with that setup. I tried pilario and Brevida and sent both back. Couldn’t stop leakings.

So I tried the Pilairo headgear with the Brevida mask last night. All worked well. I didn’t have any leaking - double checked with Sleepyhead and it reported 0 leaks. It was comfortable and the clips stayed attached well. Not sure if I’ll continue using it but will see after a few nights which headgear I prefer.

Has anybody tried the Brevida headgear on the Resmed Airfit P10 mask?
