RX pressure and how to determine it

Post by Chalkie » Sat Feb 17, 2018 10:56 am

Filling out my Sleepyhead profile, I am not sure how important this data is for successful use of the software, but I want to fill it out properly.

What is RX pressure and how do I determine it?
Machine: Philips Respironics BiPAP C Series.
Mask: Respironics Comfort Gel Nasal Mask.

Pressure 12-18.

All that extra stuff in SleepyHead isn't needed for SH to do it's job.
All you really need to enter is your profile name, country and time zone you are in.
You can skip all that other stuff. That's what I do..

At least fill out what you can. If you turn on your machine and let it run for half an hour, the pressure displayed is your set pressure (or min pressure if you have an automatic).

Inputting the pressure RX setting into the SleepyHead profile does absolutely nothing in terms of calculations.
It's not needed...neither is the doctor information or mask information or any of that other stuff.
All that is needed is
Profile name
Country so the language will match what you use
Time Zone for showing correct time going to sleep and waking up.

All that other stuff can be skipped and SleepyHead won't care one bit.

Right, Sleepyhead doesn't need it (it already knows it). It's good to put on your profile for this forum though.
