They look like single hiccup events that everyone has. Who knows if they would be arousing you from sleep? You would need the lab brainwave chart to show it. The sleep readers on the wrist are getting better at showing the sleep stages, though they still fail badly when compared to a lab showing the stages of the night. Personally I wouldn't give it a thought.

Just woke up from sleep study last night. Oxygen stayed right around 93% all night. Looks like my new pressure will be 15. Holy smokes I didn't think it would need to be that high based on my sleepyhead reports! So no one has to go searching this is when I had under 88% for 93 minutes.

How the heck did they get you up to 15? I've been trying for weeks, just to get you to 9 :)
I bet you feel good about it..

Remember I wanted to lay low so my horrible VA doctor I'm stuck with for a bit longer didn't have any ammunition against me lol.

I do have to say though I'm a bit surprised 15 is where I'm at. Next Friday I get official results. I was told I did reach REM on my back as well.

I'm so pleased it was a simple solution for you. I bet you had a big sigh of relief. Now the lung guy and it's sorted.

Definitely happy when I found out oxygen was good. I brought my own mask in and she asked how old it was and asked if I wanted a new one. Of course I said sure lol. Got another backup unheated hose as well.

They started the night out at 8. The Tech was also excited with the mask I use because they mostly get people with full face masks.

I can't wait to see the official results as well. With a pressure that high assuming no centrals my numbers should be close if not 0! I also asked and was told the techs manually score each sleep study then the Dr. Also goes over each one.

I only have to wait a week so that's not too bad.

Sometime in next week I'll be getting a call asking my preferences for a pulmonologist then a week after that told when my appointment will be . So I'm guessing I'll see one in 2 months. Unless pulmonologists don't have long wait times?

Not sure if this is temporary effect or what but after 3 hours or so after sleep study with increased pressure my awake 02 is now between 97 to 99% . Will be interesting to see if that continues or not.

Here are the results from sleep study. So officially I'm now set to set pressure of 10. Not sure how my numbers add up since therapy event page adds up more then the total number of events for the night. Also since my 90% pressure before has been just below 8 and my average AHI is below 1 it's weird how my ahi at pressure 8 was 14.

PR, that makes sense.
Exhaling through pursed lips boosts oxygen levels.
Good for recovery from exercise.

Well that didn't last long......
Going to try and lower flex setting to see if it does anything but for last two nights 02 dropping again.

"if" va follows medicare guidelines, it has to be demonstrated thru sleep testing that the xpap will not raise your o2 levels to acceptable levels. in your case you may have to be tested with bpap. this was a fairly recent change by medicare.

VA guidelines are just being under 88% for 5 or more min. Basically. I was just on supplemental oxygen and taken off because of titration study showed my oxygen was fine with higher pressure.

Are you allowed to change your pressure yet? I'd keep the flex and raise min pressure. You have your sleep study and mean o2 levels at each pressure. Pick a nice one, 13 may be unlucky for some, but lucky for you. :)

Mean 02 was good at 8 through 15 lol. Now 10 not working so good. Not sure of Dr death is fired yet so don't know if I can't change pressures.
