Re: Searching for Most Comfortable Chin Strap to stop Mouth Leaks
Thanks, Pugsy, that looks very comfortable and might be something I could try. I also didn't realize that I should take my lips out of the equation when taping, so that may also work. I will try that again tonight.

Searching for Most Comfortable Chin Strap to stop Mouth Leaks
I feel sure this topic has been addressed before, but my situation might be somewhat different. I know I am having leaks caused by mouth breathing or opening my mouth when I am deeply asleep. My recent supply order came with a chin strap, which I tried last night. It is the type with a hole for the ...

Re: My attempts to secure BleepSleep DreamPort covered by insurance
I had a very long conversation via video chat with Stuart Heatherington about the issues I experienced, and I feel so very honored that he would take the time out of his busy schedule to talk with me at length about making adjustments and assisting me to have the best possible experience with the Bl...

Re: Respironics Dreamstation runs out of water...
Question - how do you know you have run out of water if it is during the night? I have a DreamStation, also, and I have run out a couple of times when I was in bed longer than 8 hours, but I was not aware of it until morning when I took the humidifier tank out to be filled. Is that a problem or a da...

This sounds interesting, but why are you changing? Did you find the bi-level was not for you?

Re: a question for those consistently under 5 AHI
I am new to the group since February, so far be it from me to give any advice. I use the same machine as you, and initially, I was all over the place in my AHI's, which were usually over 5. Thanks to Pugsy's suggestion about increasing the therapy pressure, I am now getting many nights under 5, but ...

Re: My attempts to secure BleepSleep DreamPort covered by insurance
I have to report a success of sorts. I participate in a Blue Cross/Blue Shield program that provides a wellness card to which they add money for various things - like taking the annual Blue Cross Health Assessment. I have been bringing the total up over the last few years, and I had enough on it to ...

Re: My attempts to secure BleepSleep DreamPort covered by insurance
Same heading - new subject. How important is mask fit and resulting mask leakage? You've probably answered this question multiple times, but I need to pose it, as I have been having recent issues with some leakage in the last couple of days. I was good at the start of using my new machine - with 100...

And, BleepSleep is correct in that their products are covered by Medicare, but covered and fully covered are two different things. If, for example, my Home Care Provider orders it for me,...
