ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV Vs ASV AUTO

Does it matter which mode is set? ASV OR ASV Auto?

ASV mode will give you a minimum EPAP
Auto ASV mode will give you a minimum and maximum EPAP
That's really the only real difference between the 2 modes.

Think of it this way...both modes will auto adjust but the Auto ASV mode lets EPAP auto adjust in addition to other auto adjusting.

It's sort of the difference between a fixed pressure cpap and an autoadjusting cpap.... with the ASV sitting on top of that.

I usually suggest asv auto, since it's more customized to your changing needs throughout the night.
