Best CPAP headgear

Post by tlr20874 » Mon Jan 15, 2018 7:01 pm

Hi, I'm new to the boards. I love my CPAP and have been using it religiously for over three months. I have a Resmed Airsense 10 nasal mask with Mirage Fx headgear. I have a large head and the bottom straps dig in right under my earlobes. I loosen the straps but then the mask leaks. Does anyone have recommendation for a good mask or headgear for a side sleeper?

Look at Padacheek.com for various ideas - you may need to try other masks (most of us do at first) but the stuff at that site can still help in many ways in the future if not with your current mask.

Finding the right mask is the hardest part of this journey.
I have more than a dozen different masks. Some of them only lasted a few days, others have been renewed multiple times.
Some that were almost great had one insurmountable problem like yours.

Don't remember using any FX masks so no advice on that one.

There is a nasal mask that has NO headgear. One brand goes by "No Mask". There is another brand that has one, but I can't remember the name right now.
