I went to my sleep doctor a few days ago because I was having really hard time with my BIPAP. Their suggestion was to lower IPAP to 15 and EPAP to 9 (15/9) or 17/9. I have tried both as well as recently 16 and 8 and these settings seems way worse. Someone here suggested a higher IPAP of 20, would even higher be the way to go ? Does anyone see anything from these graphs that might help me.
Second question: If I do increase my IPAP is it going to perm damage my lungs? Say IPAP of 22.
Also, how can I figure out my total inspiration time, isnt total inspiration the time it takes you to inhale only? I felt like TI was my issue but they said that was highly unlikely... Im trying to survive and keep my job eating 2000mg of modafinil a day just trying to stay awake. They said give it a month and we will have another sleep study.
Here are my graphs:

Re: Few questions for someone suffering
Epap of 9 or worse 8 number is way to low.. It is not holding the airway open.
I would try it at EPap at 12 and see how the numbers go. Leave the ipap alone for now.
ipap of 22 isnt going to hurt you mine is at 23 and i am still alive.
I wish you well.
