question about the my air app

Post by springman946 » Fri Jan 12, 2018 10:09 pm

hello I was looking at my air score today and noticed that my air told me that my mask seal needed to be adjusted but I looked at my sleep report on my machine and next to the mask seal it shows a green smiley face and not a frowning face if the machine reported that I needed to adjust my mask seal. wouldn't it show on my machine as a frowning face next to mask seal?

For Mr Frowny face to show up on your machine for leak management you have to spend 30% or more of the night in large leak territory.

I don't know what criteria MyAir uses for leak evaluation but it sounds like less than the 30% line in the sand.
I have never seen the criteria used by the MyAir product or website but then I haven't looked.

You might look at a SleepyHead report and see how much time it says you are in big leak when you get the note from MyAir and that might give you an approx idea.
Or you might poke around at the ResMed MyAir website and see if they happen to mention whatever criteria they use.
