Newbie questions

Post by mrsmccalmont » Mon Jan 08, 2018 5:14 pm

Hello,

Thank you for the add, I wish I could sit and have a cup of tea with you all.

I have recently been experiencing areophagia, possibly since December. At the start of 2017 I wanted to give my body everything it needed to establish wellness so I made it my goal to faithfully use my sleep apnea machine and work towards weight loss. I lost 80lbs. Now I think my machine needs a bit of an adjustment. (I have always snored but I haven't always been obese)

I am looking for guidance and the best route. I do not think my apnea has decreased but I do think I need some adjustments.

My machine does have a sd card, I use a Mac computer, hoping to be directed on the process for viewing data with the sleepyhead software (I haven't downloaded it yet).

Any advice and direction will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you! (Also I would love to provide machine info, I simply do not know where to find that info...) I have a ResMed S9

How to add your equipment to your profile.
wiki/index.php/Registering_Equipment_in_User_Profile

If you are unsure of exactly which S9 model machine you are using the model name is usually clearly stated on the face of the machine or there is a sticker on the bottom or side with the model number. There's well over 10 various S9 models so we need to know more than "S9"

SleepyHead does have a Mac version available.

I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

If you want to try the Eclipse mask and want a special promo code to get a little off the price...send me a private message.

Thank you. I updated my information.

The download for Sleepyhead is a tad more complicated, maybe someone with a Mac is willing to walk me through the steps.

I don't know how much of the Mac process RobySue might have covered in her SH tutorial but she has a Mac.
You might read what she has written and see if it helps you out.
I don't use a Mac so I am not much help in that area.

Otherwise we do have a lot of Mac users here and someone will be glad to try to help with more specifics.
