I've had mine for a year. I wipe my oils off on my sheet, yes sheet. Sense using I've stopped hacking big blobs of snot out of my throat every morning and no longer caugh my butt off for a couple miles driving to work in the morning. I replace my cushion in about 6 months, never had a issue with it as far as ruining anything. It has been nothing but a positive experience for me and im glad I bought it!

We get people here who come just to shout the So Clean praises and no other reason because they are paid for shouting those praises.
Are you one of those people?
So, if I'm new, my opinions don't matter. I came here originally to see if anyone else has experienced discoloration from using the SoClean system. I have. HOWEVER, I still believe it's an effective method of sanitizing my mask and machine. You call it a scam. I call it a solution. If you don't like it DON'T USE IT, but there are many satisfied users. No, I don't work for SoClean. I was like you - ignorant. My wife bought it for my birthday. I took several days before I set it up. Since then, I've become a believer. I no longer have a film of whatever in my reservoir. If you like that film, good for you. Yeah, you don't have that film. You're perfect. Do some research and you will find that I - and you - are not alone in the film thing.

Now, if you're done attacking people simply because they haven't been on this forum as long as you have, have a nice day.
Interesting choice of link to support your point of view. Did you actually read what various persons wrote as their answers to the question? I doubt it - not one I found behaved like Chicken Little - the sky is not falling. On another note - the link is an open invitation to a series of questions that are clickbait only - one must sign in with either Google, Facebook, or Quora to get to where they are sending you, clickbait personified.

Its funny how much better one feels when there aren't mold spores your allergic to. And all thanks to a product that cleans it for you every day to make it easier. Amazing isn't it.

Now I'm remembering why I stopped posting on forums, the smart asses rule!!!!

There will always be positive and negatives reviews on just about everything. I'm glad you enjoy using your machine and feel that the expense was worth it. It's your money and you get to spend it any way you like. Most important, you are feeling better. That's worth lots of money!

Yeah, there are always smart asses on every forum. Best to ignore them if you can.

Only, their OWN DOCS say their machine doesn't clean crap... you have to clean it manually.

Do, yes, please, quit posting on forums.
