Yes, what type of machine do you have? I have mine set to reduce pressure while exhaling.

A few things may help:
1) This forum is not Google, there are real persons here, all on the same therapeutic journey you are starting on, decide if you intend to participate or just periodically ask a question.
2) When answering USMCvet's question you might have taken a cue from his post and asked him further how he put his equipment in the post. This process alone saves a lot of back and forth in landing on the correct information and thus, the correct answer. We still don't know exactly which version of DreamStation you have - a) DreamStation CPAP, b) DreamStation CPAP Pro,
c) DreamStation Auto, d) DreamStation BiPAP Auto or, e) DreamStation BiPAP Pro. or whether you use the humidifier - we know you use a nasal pillow mask - which one?
3) The easier it is for users to understand the problem and the environment in which the problem presents itself the easier and more accurately the answer will come.
4) Get SleepyHead software and use it - it is free and invaluable when discussing and your understanding the details of what is going on with your breathing while asleep and using PAP. Since you are on this forum, I will assume you use a computer and are reasonably comfortable using it. You can get SleepyHead from https://sleepyhead.jedimark.net/
Fortunately, your question was simple and thus, so were the answers. As time goes by you will find that will not always be the case. There are no short-cuts to experience and knowledge; there is no one on this forum who knows it all and I firmly believe we all know that, too. There are some, Pugsy for instance, who are very knowledgeable and generous with their knowledge. One hopes you will come to know who they are and value their input.

Thanks for finding the forum and welcome.
