I've been a member on this board for almost a decade. Lately I've tended to drift in and out of it on an ever-decreasing frequency. In part, this is because of deterioration in the quality of the board.

Thank you Johnny Goodman for taking a step towards rescuing what for me and countless others is a valuable resource.

For Pugsy, my sympathy. Moderation is a largely thankless job. May it not burn you out. And a word of advice based on my many many years on boards such as this: Moderation is best kept in the background. It serves no-one on the board to discuss it or even be aware that it is happening. My favourite moderator from another board is famous for his shout out: "take it to email".

Moderators have many styles. May you soon find yours.

I add my thanks to you for making this change johnnygoodman. Members of this board were so helpful to me as I was starting my cpap journey. Not just in responses directly to me but in seeing the questions other people had and responses to help them deal with various situations. My pulmonologist can't believe how compliant I am with my cpap and it's because of support from members here. But I haven't been logging on very often recently and, in fact, just started again after about a month or so as it had become so unpleasant. I am happy to see this change. Thank you.
