Hi, I am new to all this and still in denial! My husband says if I keep my head stuck in the sand, something will bite my backside! I replied that my whole body is so far in the sand....no chance of anything biting me in the backside! I Found the humour helpful...I guess acceptance will come in time. :?

I have two items:
1. to me DME is simply DUMBY

2. when I'm angry with the machine, hubby tells me to call it Continuous Respiratory Airway Pressure.

Mike; let me guess what your super power is:

Machine: AirSense™ 10 AutoSet™ For Her CPAP Machine with HumidAir™ Heated Humidifier
Mask: AirFit™ P10 For Her Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask with Headgear
Additional Comments: Backup: Devillbiss Intellipap Autoadjust
I once was lost in apnea; but now I'm found--breathing easily all night long.

Recently diagnosed and depressed over the whole thing---a Laugh! Best medical therapy I've had so far. Tonight I'll try again with a smile. THANKS!

This is my first time to this forum as well as newly diagnosed with central sleep apnea. It is scary but
with my always supportive hubby I know I'll adjust in time. I thoroughly enjoyed your CPAP Glossary and
do believe laughter is the best medicine. I could just picture my head flying around the room

Thanks for the pick-me-up. :D

Thank you for taking time to create and share this. Every little bit of info that defuses anxiety over starting to use the equipment... especially clean/care...is golden. I'm new here as of yesterday and already lighter of spirit and more open to the experience. <3
