FOR SALE: ResMed Airsense autoset 10 travel CPAP

Post by Wantok » Fri Dec 01, 2017 8:39 pm

I bought this used (like new) machine for travel and have hardly used it. My doctor has now told me my apnea is so mild I needn't use a CPAP so I would like to get some of the $600 I paid for this good-as-new machine back. Humidifier, traveling case and all hoses are included and work perfectly. Will take $500 or best offer.

Have you used Sleepyhead software to see and evaluate your nightly data?
If you haven't evaluated your own therapy, you'd be foolish to try to sell your equipment.
Did you have an in-lab sleep study? Did you ever see the report from it (if you did have one)?

From reading the stuff in your Additional Comments, I would try to dissuade you from getting rid of any equipment.
Do you still have the REMstar Auto listed in your profile?

Additional Comments: Tape mouth; REMstar Auto A-flex; software Encore Anywhere; pressure 5-8; mild OSA, REM AHI 41.5; supine AHI 15.3, non-supine AHI 0; pacemaker

Thanks, Jim and Den. Yes, I have had a sleep study. I have NO apnea when I sleep on my side and I am a side sleeper. Also I still am keeping my other machine should I need one in the future for some reason. So I am still selling the travel ResMed.

You may need to re evaluate what price you can expect or want for the AirSense 10 AutoSet that is used (BTW what is the run hours?).
We can buy brand new zero hour units online like Amazon for $519.
I know you paid more for used but it is what it is.

Pugsy, How can I tell how many hours it has been used (and I'll include that)? I didn't actually name a price...I said what I paid for it and asked for the best offer. I know people can get them on Amazon for that price so I am expecting less.

Press and hold the home button and the dial button together for 5 seconds. Then turn the dial until you see the word "about" at the very end. Press the dial button and you should see "run hours".

To illustrate what LSAT wrote, this from SecondwindCPAP.com (I suspect they do this a lot, so they should know):
