Have to take a break

Post by MaxINTJ » Fri Dec 01, 2017 10:42 am

I find I am getting in a worse and worse mood reading all these positives regarding xPAP.

I have been struggling with this for 4 months and getting nowhere, and it's still continuing with having to fight my healthcare provider.

Nobody here wants to hear about total failure anyway, so I will be taking a break.

I want to thank everyone for their suggestions and help - it's a great resource.

I will be back, either when I get somewhere, or when I'm dead from lack of sleep.

Yes, I will come back to haunt you all...

Well, now I can't get the line from the Hooters' song out of my head, "All you zombies hide your faces." Thanks for that.

It is called "positive" airway pressure for a reason; so, sorry about the mood, man, but it is what it is as we try to fight the negativity of scared newbies who haven't yet given the therapy the full shot. That isn't meant to irritate those who have and who were unable to make it work for them after giving it that full shot to the best of their ability.

There is an entire protocol in the industry for the dance of "failed PAP." It can mean moving on to the other approaches to SDB, but it often has to be done in a particular order to keep insurance people happy. So think of your health care providers as your partners in keeping the payers happy as each step is tried in an orderly fashion. You can't take those steps without your docs on board, and the docs can't take those steps without your cooperation either--so unless you are ready to go it on your own out of pocket, dance the three-way dance carefully so that no toes are permanently damaged on the medical dance floor, my friend.

Try to keep well as best you can. Don't give up on trying things to make life better. Use the resources available, with as little nose-cutting and face-spiting as possible, ok?

Let's be safe out there.

I remember one very important lesson way back in my youth when I was first learning to ride a motorcycle. I was told ... "your bike will go where ever you are looking -- so if you look at the ground you will go down".
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Well, since nothing we say gets through to you anyway... I can't say I'll miss your constant random stream of 'consciousness' topics.

Hey. Wait. Was he trying to steal my gig?!!!!

Either way, glad we tried to help, and glad he recognizes that was what we were trying to do. And that's enough for me.

That's props. In my book, that earns props back. Right, PR?

But if you look straight up at the sky, the result is the same as looking at the ground. So sometimes the bike goes the opposite direction too.

So true, proved by me falling asleep on my Honda Silver Wing at 50 mph on a curve, that's the day I found out motorcycles could fly.

And there'll be a pot of coffee ready to brew. Maybe you'll be ready for decaf.

All the best,

Enshaded in forgetfulness divine
