Re: Res Med Air Fit 20
Are you using the F20 or the N20? My wife and I both use the Air Fit F20 mask and are satisfied with it. I won't say happy, but I have never found a mask I was really happy with. We have been using them since March of this year with no problems. I sleep on my back with my head and feet raised similar to being in a recliner. My wife sometimes sleeps flat on her back or side. We have very few problems with leaks.

Using or will start using tonight the N20. This is like my 9th mask since starting cpap 3 months ago. As you can see I dont like any. How about marks from the head gear on the face? Thanx for any info

I don't want to discourage you, but I think I went through over 15 masks before I found one I sort of liked, and have done two more since then. I got most of them on eBay or from other members of the forum. I have purchased a few from our site sponsor. Other people have been lucky and got a workable mask on the first try. I have learned I cannot use anything other than a full face mask.

Re: Res Med Air Fit 20
Its a tough go. Fortunately I have good insurance (medicare plus supplement) that covers 7 masks the 1st month. After that I had to wait 2 months. I am now 3 months in and starting all over again. Hopefully this mask will do it--I do not wish to do the trial and error thing again. Husband started up with his equipment 2 weeks ago and is now on his 3rd mask. Hates it. He is now using res med Liberty . Its an older one--but he felt more comfortable with it than any other he tried on.
Its a crap shoot Okie!

It took 20 before I found a mask that didn't hurt.
I keep looking for alternatives because so many of the good ones get discontinued.
Better to be ready for what never happens . . .

Re: Res Med Air Fit 20
I've been through quite a few masks myself. Found a couple I can tolerate, sort of. Still have not found a mask that doesn't cause me to wake up several times through the night. None of them fit well. Guess is goes with the territory.
I just got the N20, but found it to be less comfortable and less adjustable than the N10, so I'm back to the N10. Wish I would have worn it more than 5 days so I can give you a better read on what it's like. P10 is a great minimalist mask, but my nose is too sensitive.

Re: Res Med Air Fit 20
I have been using the N20 for 3 night so far, while i don't like the head gear it has given me the best seal, but i think i need a medium cushion, it is very tight, and yes i do have mask marks , but they do go away. And no leaks what so ever.

I just got mine the other day and so far I have no complaints about it. what so ever it is comfortable and it has no forehead piece
Re: Res Med Air Fit 20
Somebody suggested to put a piece of an old T-shirt around the straps to keep marks away. Hmm Maybe

I have been using the N20 since the VA started ordering them approximately 5 months ago.For me it has been the best mask ever. I have little or no leaks or apnea's. In the last 5 months my apnea's have been below 0.2; With more 0.0's than I have had in my prior 10 years. I use Padacheeck.com cloth cover and it reduces the marks on the sides of my nose and the bridge.
