30 Days In

Post by lamar2217 » Thu Nov 30, 2017 8:50 am

Hello: 68 year old male. 6'5" 180#. Excellent health except for Apnea. Regular vigorous exercise. Sleep studies indicated apnea 11 AHI. Rx ResMed 10 Auto, full mask,11 to 17. First month successful average AHI less than 2. Last night strange results. AHI close to 8, Cheynes Stokes. Any suggestions?

Is this the only night with the CSR flagged respiration?
If this is a one off fluke night I wouldn't worry about it. Sometimes stuff just gets weird.
Do you sleep on your back a lot? The clustering of OA events and pressure increases point to something changing and that's usually sleep position or REM stage sleep pressure needs changing.
How's your leak rate on the other "good" nights?

Can you please include the information stuff on the left side where it shows AHI and statistics?
And get me a screen shot of a typical "good" night?
You can hide the calendar and turn off the pie chart (Preferences/Appearance tab and remove check mark for show pie chart) and this allows the rest of the statistics to be easily seen on the left along with the AHI and category bar graphs.

You can resize the graphs on the right so that these graphs are easily viewed.

Flow rate
Pressure (use either the mask pressure or regular pressure line but no need for both)

Thanks for your reply. I agree that this night appears to be an anomaly. Ususal leak rates are negilible. I am usually a side sleeper and attempted to sleep on my back.
