I was just warning against the info in the link. Didn't intend to publicize it, but was just trying to be helpful. Obviously, even with the "x-man" gone, that is still not what is done here, witness the 5 pages of posts following this simple warning. I Quit!

I think his issue was about PR being more than happy to replace "x-man" stepping into his safe space. But maybe I'm wrong?

Very intuitive... fwiw, I agree.

I realize PR isn't always everyone's favorite poster (a carryover from crustier days?), but I found his posts in this thread to be on-point and informative, myself. After all, not everyone gets how posting a warning with a clickable link can actually do the very opposite of what they are trying to accomplish. In my book, it's a favor to point that out to the OP. I might have chosen to do that in a PM for preservation of dignity, but that's just me. Or maybe I'm missing the point. I do that sometimes: Miss the point. My simple naivete sometimes clouds my perspective.

Yes, I agree, everyone should know what drives the Internet and the things on it. Most don't realize, how money is made from it's use Click Bait, Facebook runs on it as does the rest wall to wall ad's with more click bait.

You don't really think those cute kittens are there because they like it, they are slaves collecting Click Bait, for a small ration of catnip. By watching you are promoting slavery. Many Click Bait sites are even worse, no kittens. Jim
