Lazer,

Apparently you are in Sweden and there must be a difference between your model Airsense and the U.S. Spec model.

We do not have that option here, maybe they think we in the States are too stupid or Lazy to handle an expanded menu with more options!

I recently got an over-the-air upgrade on the humidifier software, it went from SX556-0202 to SX556-0204

Edit for clarification.....the menu for climate control is same for both patient menu and clinical menu, so your options are different regardless of which menu I use.

Well, that solves that.......I don't really understand why it would be different between UK and USA models, just baffles me why they didn't make the USA version like that.......Marketing Pukes I guess.

I noticed the manual was for the new Oxy ClimateLineAir hose, I just got mine from cpap.com, I'll look in the printed manual and see if it's different, I have not hooked up the oxy hose yet, i am still using my regular ClimateLineAir hose that I modified for O2.

So my new manual for the ClimateLineAir Oxy manual shows the same menu that you posted, so now I am very curious if this is hose dependent. I will go ahead and connect the new Oxy version of the ClimateLineAir hose and see if my menu options change......will report a little later.

I removed the standard ClimateLineAir hose (Slimline) and then connected the new ClimateLineAir Oxy hose and no difference, still do not have the Tube Temp Auto setting that the manual shows. My only options are full auto or manual that my previous picture shows. The printed manual for the ClimateLineAir Oxy hose and the machine do not match. Maybe in a future software upgrade it will change.

A10 was launched in the United States six months before here in Sweden, maybe they have discovered errors in the software and therefore you receive updates. Here in Sweden there is no possibility of wireless updates yet.

I do not have the A10 myself, but I'll see if I can bring out the version of software we have in Sweden.

That would be interesting, and if you could have someone check the climate control menu and see if it is the configuration from the manual that you referenced, or if in reality, the menu is actually like ours (the menu picture I posted).

TangledHose wrote:MeToo,

I am curious about something in your post.....you say you have humidifier on "Auto" and hose on 7. With the Airsense you only have choice of running climate control on full Auto (both humidity and hose temp on auto) or Manual to allow independent control of hose temp and humidifier. It's not like the S9 where you could run humidity in Auto and still have manual control of hose temp, the Airsense is either full auto for both, or manual for both. Humidifier in manual goes from off, to 1 thru 8 for settings....8 being highest humidity. Hose temps in manual are temps like 80, 79, ecettera, so how can you say you have it in Auto and hose at 7...... Sounds like you don't understand how the system works. If it is the humidity that you have set to "7" , well then no wonder you're getting a lot of water as this is one setting below max. I believe in Auto the default humidity is around 3 or 4, so 7 is quite high if that's what you mean in your post.

Interesting. I had mine on auto, but it was using quite a bit of water. I put it on manual setting of 2, for humidity and it's still comfortable,. no difference to me, but less water usage. Maybe I'll try setting 1? Also, when you put it to manual I think you can change the temp too, mine is at 82 and I think on anuto it puts it at 80.

I have the Resmed Airsence 10 Autoset and if you go into your setting you CAN set Climate to Auto and choose Tube temp from OFF, 60F - 86F or AUTO. The wording in the above posted literature isn’t quite clear it seems and for anyone claiming otherwise without physically verifying it on a machine you aren’t as helpful as you think you might be. No offense intended, hard not to say something when one claims another’s ignorance by proving their own.

For the original poster, I hope you figured it out. My setting vary depending on the season and what our heating and air onditioning are set to. Many have given you really good troubleshooting tips.

Very Respectfully,

Thank you for trying to help, bigsquishy, but the last post before yours was nearly 2 years ago.
Odds are the problem was solved long ago.
