I agree with raising the lower pressure but I'd do it slowly. You say it's currently 6. I would only raise it to 7 for several days (4 or 5) and see how you feel. If you don't get the results you're look for, then raise to 8. Raising the pressure too much, too quickly, can sometimes cause its own problems.

There are people who do better on plain Cpap... the autos wake them when changing pressures.

If I'm wearing the Amara View mask, I wake up briefly multiple times and then between 1 and 3 I wake up fully. At that point I have to take the mask off to get back to sleep.

I used the Dreamwear before and now after the View, it doesn't fully wake me up, and I can sleep with it on until it's time to get up.

So for me it's completely an issue with how comfortable and intrusive the mask is.
