Hi!

I have the same pattern on my SleepyHead program. Have you had any luck dealing with it? I use a BiPAP machine but still feel tired with a normal AHI. I was "diagnosed" with UARS but i did not have a pressure sensor in my esophagus. But I had a couple central apneas on my sleep study too. So could it be the same? Could an ASV machine help this kind of "apnea" because honestly I don't even know how to call this kind of SBD. Kind of UARS and/or CA, mixed apnea? I was planning on getting an MMA surgery, hoping it would be a permanent relief but it might not help reading from the comments above. I have these spindles every night, this is just the last one. And they are always there before a "total" wake up. I don't always wake up from these but when I do there's one of these right before it.

Here are the recordings:

Thanks for the responses.

AHI is just a number

if you feel bad there are other causes

you show almost a minute without breathing at that CA event although the machine says 0.00 for detecting not breathing events

if that causes desats you will feel tired
and an ASV should help with that by forcing breathing for you
But the flow rate is flat? So I assume that's "not breathing"? I haven't checked it with an oxymeter, even though I have one, I don't know how I should do it. By "tired" I mean I feel not much better than the previous 5 years when i had no clue why I woke up. And what are these periodic breathing patterns? It's usually around these when I get these central apneas.

Thanks for your answer.
