Dreanwear nasal gels

Post by Mr T » Wed Nov 15, 2017 6:21 am

Purchased dreamwear nasal gels and thought I finally found the right setup. Only one big issue. I am using cpap set at 13 and when I put mask on my right ear backs up with pressure and very uncomfortable. Try clearing my ears but pressure in ears very uncomfortable. Any suggestion would be ggelpful.

I don't think it's supposed to be worn over your ear...

What machine are your using?
Using in exhale relief??
Any chance that you could maybe reduce your pressure slightly and not have it allow too many apnea events to happen and maybe not mess with the ear so bad?
What mask were you trying before you tried the nasal pillows?

You might have some Eustachian tube dysfunction going on and thus the issues with pressure.
If the normal stuff we do to equalize the pressure doesn't work you might consider seeing a doctor to see if they have any ideas or thoughts.

Oh...you might try a decongestant. Sometimes that helps.

Silliness aside, an ear problem can be pure torture.
Do see a doctor. If he has no good answer, see an ENT.

Thanks all for the advice. Using Dreamstation with exhale relief set at it's highest. Mask is a mirage fx. I think trip to get may be in order as I really like these nasal gels.

As always there are a few on every site that just like to mess around with you, but hey thats life!

i have been having the same problem....started trying the nasal pillows and my ears, more so my right ear has been hurting.....my guess was the high pressure directly up the nostrils not so good for me....
