I really like my Amara View. I got it from a fellow forum member who no longer needed it. I had tried 2 full face mask, and neither worked for me.
This works best for me, but is not perfect.
A coupla of things that may help.
1. I take a Med. in this mask, which is kinda strange as every thing about me is large, hence my user name. I had tried the large cushion but it leaked badly.
2. I found that this mask was a bit tricky regarding leaks when first putting it on. I now angle the cushion away from my chin, and put the point of my nose first then bring it to my mouth,
it gives me a better initial seal.
This mask took and takes a bit of patience ,I still struggle with leaks a few nights a week.
Hope this helps...Good Luck,
Dave
Thanks for the tip Dave.
This mask is different to other masks when it comes to sizing as it's measured from under your nose to the tip of your nose, I was expecting to be a medium but am infact a small so I guess our noses aren't as big as we both think they are

Did not go well. Res med score for 4 hrs 68. Okay till 2am. Then woke up and air seemed to be blowing so strong I could not control the leak. Mask was "farting". Tightend straps-=-no change. Got mad and took it off and put old mask wrapped in scarf on. When the husband gets up will go over it again and see what happened. my fault--?? who knows. Anyway, hopefully can get it under control. Think mask liners might help. My pressure is pretty steady at 14 and I have had no trouble like this with other masks. Yes, disappointed. Any help here would be appreciated. TY Will be back later after trying this again before bed time.

Sounds like you guys are doing better than me.......

I used it for the first time last night.... leaks everywhere,, I can adjust and get rid of some but there is always one somewhere......

I was hoping this would work for me..... my pressure is usually 10.8 but with this mask it was 12.4---leaks usually 0.12 amara 1.04----- ahi went from 4.8 to 10.2 and apnea's I used to get 0 or at the worst 0.6 but with Amara 1.4

I wrestled with trying to stop the leaks ... I got somewhere around 5 hours sleep and woke up,,, couldn't get back to sleep....

Right now I am tired and my eyes are burning....

I love my swift LT but began mouth breathing and the only thing that works for me is a chin strap and tape over my mouth....I get great numbers and rest well but I am so tired of trying to get all the adhesive off my face after waking up in the morning.. I seem to be picking off little pieces of sticky stuff on and off during the day....

Do not see first post here --so will say again. Went badly. Started out okay. 2am woke with air blasting. Could not control leaking. Tightened straps--mask was "farting" My pressure stay at about 14--no problems like this with other masks. Will try this again before bed and see where if I went wrong or where the problem is. Finally put old mask swift fx on wrapped in a scarf. 68 on res med scale for 4 hrs. with amara view. Will come back later after I have tried it again in the day. Any comments are much appreciated. TY

Have you been given the right size cushion for your mask? Very important, were you measured for it. Either way you should download and print a sizing guide and check this for yourself. Also, do not overtighten the straps, that is as bad as leaving them loose.

Everyone says don not tighten... with that said I could never get the leaks stopped loose or tightened.....

Has anyone used this mask and NOT had leaks ???

While it isn't my primary mask I did try it to see if it would be a contender for times when I couldn't use my nasal pillow masks and I used it for about a week. The first night it was a bit leaky until I got the tension adjustments just right and that took a couple of nights to get dialed in but after that no real leaks to speak of or at least none that woke me up or were significant on the software leak graphs.

I never wear any mask very tight either and I didn't have to make the Amara View very tight at all to get and keep a decent seal.

But people have different facial structures so not all people will have the same results either with or without leaks.

Every mask will leak, it's just about keeping it minimised, we all have different shaped faces so any mask will be great for some but bad for others. My F20 leaks far worse on me than the Amara View did, admittedly it's only one night but hopefully I won't be eating my words in a few weeks time
