new CPAP user -- please look at graph

Post by grimmel95 » Mon Oct 16, 2017 3:42 pm

Hi Folks,

So I've been using a cpap since the 9th of October and I've finally imported my data into sleepyhead. The most recent graph is from last night and I'm hoping you folks can interpret the results for me since I don't have any real ideas on what it all means. Last night's usage was lower due to having to get up early to take my wife to a medical appointment 2 hours away from our house.

I have the graphs from the first 6 nights of use but they look way different than this graph. Only thing I did different during the import was use the import button under "File" and then slide the little lock button on the sd card.

Some quick background:
I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea
AHI was 62.8
RDI was 63.6
Nadir saturation was 85

Machine: Resmed Airsense 10 Auto
Mask: Resmed Airfit P10 Nasal Pillow with headgear

Here's the graphs:

How do the other nights look different than this one?

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting data. Your summary statistics look good. See the three links below on how best to present your data.

That's the weird thing I mentioned in my post that the previous nights the graphs look different like in "block" style graphs vs the line graph that I uploaded. It might have been the way i imported the data or something but the last graph matches what everyone else posts here for help.

I'll get a few more nights under my belt and then upload a few of those for you folks to look at.

I'm just looking for some confirmation that things are going in the right direction and that nothing major is standing out that I need to adjust, etc.

thanks,
grimmel

There are some settings in Preference/Appearance tab that change the plotting of the graphs.
Maybe you accidentally changed something there.
I don't know how changing the way something is imported would change the appearance of the graphs.
When in doubt and wondering...you can always create another user profile and import and see what the graphs look like with one import.

I'll give that a try and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion.
