Amara View/nostrils

Post by Rainmom17 » Sat Sep 09, 2017 4:42 pm

I picked up an Amara View from my DME today. Have been wanting to give it a try to take away the nosebridge pressure from my current mask. Anyway, they don't think I'll have luck with it, because I have a very narrow nose. She doesn't think the nostril placement will be correct. So, wondering how I'll know if it's not correct - if there's leaking? Would I have breathing problems? I just wore it for about 10 minutes and had leaking out the sides. Wasn't sure if my nostrils were okay with it or not! Her info was very vague, so I don't really know what I should be expecting.

Same experience here. My nose is too narrow, and it drops right through the opening.
If they ever make an extra small, I might try it again.
Sometimes DME's are all wet. This time it looks like they are onto something. Who knew?

I was wondering why it is contraindicated for those with glaucoma.
