No..his 0.8 AHI is from the diagnostic sleep study before cpap.
He doesn't have OSA. Not even borderline.
His RDI was what got him the "let's try cpap" just in hopes it helped....the arousals.

He does have arousals that sometimes he remembers and sometimes he doesn't. So his sleep quality is in the toilet.
We don't know what is causing the arousals...and it's hard to fix a problem when you don't know for sure what the problem is.
The cpap trial was one of those "let's try this and see if it helps" things.

Now his AHI with cpap is ugly, ugly for sure but they aren't real events. They are all post arousal SWJ flagged events. The arousal always precedes the events and the breathing rhythm is definitely SWJ...not asleep. It's so obvious a blind man could see it.

I have put his reports under the microscope and zoomed in on each and every flagged event....I found one hyponea that looked like it was real.

Kudos to luvsbluberries and Guest for the correct answer!

He's an Anatolian Shepherd - also known as a Kangal.

Doesn't look the least bit scary, does he?

lol

He's pretty much fully grown, 19 months old. He may get a tiny bit bigger, but he'll still be a runt for the breed - only 100lbs.
