I did not say that. Please don't misrepresent.

You might be right. Ignoring guests engaging in controversy starts now for me.

--------

its the modern world

the libtards bully everybody into saying what they say should be said
and personally attacking anyone who dares to stand up to them with truth facts and logic

best not to engage them unless they attack
but then you have to respond or they will never stop being bullies
Honestly xxyzx, I just want to be friendly with everyone. Libtards and Kool aid drinkers alike. Whether anyone likes it or not, that includes you and that's just how I'm going to be. Do you brother, just try not to hurt anyone.

Some maybe... but not all, as evidenced by many posts from "guest" people. Also, keep in mind that a few guests haven't yet received an okay to sign on.

Damn... I promised myself I wouldn't post in this thread again.

In any case, I could easily be wrong and I may find out why soon enough but I just wanted to give you a shout out for being THE MOST RESILIENT SOB I have ever seen.

Same here. Unless he is trolling, he really does need some help, and I feel bad for him. I have posted politely when I have responded, yet still get called a libtard. I have tried to help when he asked for help. I have kept quiet many times when I felt like saying something negative. For awhile. I actually thought he was improving.

I agree with the poster that made the comment that people should not just follow advice they see here. Because of the way our medical systems work, many people HAVE to try what they see here in order to survive. So, while it would be nice to be able to just say "it's up to THEM to research, not us to correct bad information" - it doesn't work that way. I can't just sit by and let BAD information just sit without correcting it.
One of the topics where he was wrong and dangerous was the topic of Lyrica. He was trying to tell people that it has a high rate of breathing problems, and was dangerous for people with sleep apnea. He did finally post some links, but I don't think he actually read them. He posted a list with short excepts, basically a google search results page. What he didn't realize, and what *I* posted in response, was that he was doing a search for lyrica and breathing problems, and taking teh results out of context. You see, every medication has a warning about allergy reactions, and one of them is breathing problems. So, it shows up with any medication. One of the links he provided even stated that of people who have reacations (not out of all people taking the medication, just those with reactions), breathing problems happen in only 2% of people. Clear;y not a common reaction.

Yet there he was, warning people not to take a medication. That is really bad advice. I proved that his statement was wrong, with his own links. He ignored it and dropped the subject. He still claims that nobody has ever proven him to be wrong.

It is also a bit scary that he is telling people they need an ASV when they don't because of his own personal experience when he has started with a doctor and DME and set him up to fail. Until very recently, he was NOT using cpap and never slept even half a night with cpap. I haven't seen any posts with success with his recently acquired asv machine, so I don't know if he had any success yet. He is not a doctor, nor has he had success with cpap. But he feels he knows more than the many people here with years of experience.

What would you suggest to spruce them up to your standards? I think deep down we're really just looking to get help and help others, so how about we focus on that from here on out?
