SleepyHead "major" leak warning that isn't.

Post by Pugsy » Sat Jul 15, 2017 7:57 pm

I just downloaded my SD card and I see this "warning" about significant MAJOR leaks...

Image

So I go look at last night's detailed graphs. Not the prettiest of leak graphs but the time actually spent above 24 L/min was just barely over 1 % of the night and I think you can see by the graph that this sure doesn't qualify for "major significant" large leak by any stretch of the imagination. I have no idea why SH goes into panic mode over nothing.

So just don't panic if SH gives you a similar warning...go look at the actual leak graph first.
I don't even give this more than a glance. 1% of nearly 8 hours isn't worth worrying about....and I slept right through all of whatever these leaks were. Still using the DreamWear gel pillows and sometimes they move a bit. I wish they had a smaller size pillow than Small but they don't. I think this one is just a tad too big.

On the left, Machine Settings, how do you get all that data/info on there. I have a DreamStation Auto CPAP machine. Can I get that info added somehow to Machine Settings or is that just picking up a ResMed machine?

This is all it says for me:

Machine Settings

PAP ModePAP Device Mode APAP (Variable)
Pressure MinMinimum Therapy Pressure 9.50 cmH2O
Pressure MaxMaximum Therapy Pressure 20.00 cmH2O

The machine I am using is a ResMed machine and a special type of machine at that.
I never paid any attention to that section because it relates to settings and SH is buggier than all get out when it comes to settings.
I am surprise that it is showing correct information.

The DreamStation machine was last to get SH made compatible with it and it's very possible that your settings area is incomplete because of either a bug or Mark just didn't get SH polished well for the statistics relating to the DreamStation models.

I don't know of anyway to add the data that is missing in your settings reported area. Sorry.
Some of mine you wouldn't see anyway because my machine is different from yours.

sleepyheadman (he has a t-shirt that says that... I know, I gave it to him) really should stick to fixing bugs, and not attempting to interpret results.
