Battery Setup

Post by do57672 » Tue Jun 20, 2017 8:12 pm

Haven't posted in awhile. Addicted to my CPAP and can't sleep without it. It doesn't happen that often but when our power goes out I dread trying to get to sleep. It was out last Sunday night from a storm for about 4 hours and I was miserable. At that point I decided I was going to buy a battery as a back up. I don't need anything fancy. Don't really go camping, and would only need it maybe less than a couple times a year, if that much. Have no clue where to start. Also, would insurance cover something like this?
Thanks

You will need this

Insurance is not likely to cover the cost but you can always try.

Or if cost is no option ResMed has some "power station" battery packs but very pricey and really designed more for portability and weight issues since they are lightweight compared to AGM batteries.
