Respironics Hypo Filter: SOFT SIDE OUT

Which side of a Respironics filter goes out. Which is it; the soft, 'catches on your fingernail' side, or the harder, shiny, coarser fabric but somehow smoother side sometimes called MESH???? And damn the Respironics label 'cause apparently no DME is using labelled filters anymore!

xyz sez: And, yes, for the disposable (white) filter the "fuzzy" (soft) side is to the outside and the "plastic" (firm) side is to the inside of your machine.

slojuggler said: For the Philips REMstar Plus C-Flex, page 5 of the User Manual suggests:

1. If you are using the white disposable ultra-fine filter, insert it into the filter area first [meaning under the foam], MESH SIDE FACING IN.

NOW, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE DELETE THAT CRAPPY THREAD? THANK YOU!
Life is a dream…if I'm wearing my Resmed AirTouch F20 cushion and my Autosense 10 Autoset isn't being hijacked by some dung-eating state security troll.
