Re: The air filters do work!

Were you camping? 😂 I live in Europe and my air is fine! I suppose it all depends exactly where you were using it. In a city of countryside. The air is definitely not worse than that of other countries.

Re: Rarely sleep more than 6 hrs.

6 hours isn’t enough in my mind. ResMed give you full points (70) on 7 hours of sleep and less if it’s under 7. Here’s a great TED speak on “Sleep” the benefits and quite shocking revelations if you don’t get enough. It also gives tips on how to get quality sleep. https://www.ted.com/talks/matt_walk...

Yeah I’ll wait it out. I don’t take strong meds and very little. I’ll see how tonight goes on 9.... thanks.

Increasing the pressure isn't the way to prevent central apneas.
Yes I know. My sleep lab lowered me from 6-10 APAP to CPAP 8 then 7 but my specialist said go to CPAP 9 as it wasn’t sufficient.

Re: Cheyne Stokes Respiration ...

First of all thanks for reply.
I got to sleep quite quickly. I woke up after 1 hour 30 with AHI of 18 showing... so this morning I decided to look closer. For tonight I’ve raised pressure to 9 with a ramp of 10 minutes from 6-9.

Cheyne Stokes Respiration ...

Hi all, I’ve been using my CPAP/APAP machine for nearly 200 days. I’ve just had a doctors check up with a take home device and he says my pressure is too low at 7 and prescribed 9 for the future. I was in APAP mode but got switched to CPAP ... last night I had my first CSR event lasting 28 minutes i...

Re: New to APAP! 17 days of use. A few questions

Thanks for your answer. I actually went into my settings and put EPR on for last night not the 29th. I watched a different YouTuber that said put it EPR on... this guy is saying switch it off. The breaks are me switching the machine off whilst I went to the toilet. I get back to sleep fairly quickly...

New to APAP! 17 days of use. A few questions

Hi all! I have been using the MyAir data which isn’t very comprehensive. I have just started using SleepyHead and will look into it all a bit deeper, time permitting. I currently have a Median average of 7.76 AHI some nights I’m at 10-12. At the beginning I was was doing ok but since buying a CPAP p...
