AFIB and Chocolate

Post by bwexler » Wed May 24, 2017 6:17 pm

I just read about a Danish study of 55,000 subjects over 13.5 years, that suggests that men who eat a 1 ounce serving of dark chocolate 6 times a week have a 23% reduced chance of developing AFIB.
I think there may have been one other member here that would appreciate that info, even though it has probably come to late to help US prevent our AFIB. But, what the heck, maybe it will reverse AFIB which will then CURE our sleep apnea.

Gee. Should I eat chocolate or continue to use xPAP????

Do both, and take Insulin! Jim

If he dares to touch MY CHOCOLATE, the outcome could be way different!
Technicality point---afib follows apnea---not the other way around.

I have heard it both ways and also that no one seems to know if their is a link between them.

I would never even think of taking your chocolate I would be to scared.

Goof, I would prefer to skip the insulin.

In that case you don't have enough chocolate. Jim

If i had to skip one it would the chocolate not my XPAP, by doing that (and shooting insulin) I wake up alive so I can do it all the next day. Without the insulin and XPAP, I wouldn't be around to eat the chocolate the next day! JIm

Just to be on the safe side, I'm still eating my daily dark chocolate allowance.
