Sleepyhead Session Information bar

Post by KenM » Wed May 17, 2017 9:33 am

Question about the Sleepyhead Session Information bar below the Statistics and Machine Settings

What does the different colors mean? (yellow and grey)

At first I thought the yellow means non-compliance, i.e. less than 4hrs of use but last night, 9hr 30min AHI 1.16, 95% Leak Rate is 0.00 but the bar is yellow
I did change the pressure settings, reduce humidifier (4 from 5) and increase ramp starting pressure (was at 4cmH20 but seemed like I was gasping so increased to 5)
But that doesn't explain it either
There are several days where I am using 5+ hrs, no changes of any kind to machine settings, and the bar is yellow
ideas?

I don't think they mean anything. I think they are just used to show that there is more than one session.
At first I thought it might mean less than 4 hours but I went to a 3 hour night for me and it was all yellow.
I did some scrolling through the past months' nights and the only time it wasn't yellow was when there was more than one sleep session recorded....where I turned the machine off and then back on for some reason.
I think it's just a quick color reference to show session times...like one of my yellow areas was very short (turned the machine off about 30 minutes after starting it due to cat fight outside that I had to breakup so I could sleep) and the rest of the night it was grayish/blue.
So small yellow bar and big long gray bar.
Other nights with no breaks in therapy...big long yellow bars.

So I don't think it really means anything that is critical. It's just a quick visual reference for the session sleep segments duration.

I think they are just color coded to differentiate the different sessions during the 24 hour period. You can turn each segment off and on below that bar graphic with the toggles for each session.
