Cleaning mask with Padacheek?

Post by mwarn » Sat Apr 29, 2017 8:19 am

I have read many threads about cleaning the mask as well as Padacheek liner, but I'm still left with a question. I use the wipes daily to clean my mask and cushion and then deep clean everything - cushion, hose, water chamber, headgear - 1-2 times per week. A week ago I started using a Padacheek liner and while it works great, it is a bit of a nuisance to have to take off the liner everyday to clean the cushion.

My question is, if you're using a Padacheek liner, are you cleaning the cushion everyday too? Or do you wipe down the liner? Wipe down the cushion and the liner?

Thank you

With the liner, there is no need to clean the cushion every day. Once a week is plenty often enough. Even without a liner, I do not clean my cushion every day. If I think about it, I clean it once a week. My wife used a padacheek liner, and hers gets cleaned on the same schedule I clean mine since I do the cleaning. We wash out the water reservoirs once a month, and change the filter at that time. We clean the head gear and pads when we clean the water reservoirs.

I use padacheeck liners. Once a week I put the liner in a lingerie bag and throw It in the washing machine. then I wash the mask by hand before I put the liner back on. that's it.

I never wash the long hose.
