What would a fair offer for a used Airsense 10
What would a fair offer for a used Airsense 10
Airsense 10, autoset, private party, face to face sale, what would be a fair starting offer? What would be too much? There are no current Craigslist, or other local ads to refer to. All I see online is from various professional sellers, and I don't imagine a private party would be in the same price league. Thank you.

You may consider the warranty null and void--reduce price accordingly.
Only meet where you can plug it in, to confirm run hours, and that it works.
Do not offer more than half that asked by Secondwindcpap for identical machine/run hours.

Re: What would a fair offer for a used Airsense 10
It depends. If it has been exposed to cigarette smoke- zero. I would not even consider it.
You need to see the Run Hours screen- similar to a car odometer. How many hours has it been already used?
$450 tops for a zero hour machine. (basically brand new, with no warranty) is reasonable.
Although I have gotten 3 of them, zero to less than 50 hours for $230 on Craigslist. Meet at a public place and test it out. (bring your own mask). Smell for smoke, check the Run Hours screen. The library works great. it is quiet, has tables and electrical outlets, and secure.

Re: What would a fair offer for a used Airsense 10
I bought mine off CL, talked to the guy selling it over the phone. Took him at his word, looked at pics ect...900 used hours, no pets, no smoke for 250. I think a good offer in the 250-300 range. JMO...

Re: What would a fair offer for a used Airsense 10
First off the Airsense 10 comes in several different models and that greatly effects the price. You need to state the actual model number.
The actual Run hours on the machine that can be checked on the Machine Under the ABOUT screen is also very important.
If over 2000 hours the machine may be fine bit should be considered over the hill.
You would normally want a machine under 1000 hours and should pay around $200 if it includes the case.
Expect a little more it it's closer to zero hours or a Airsense 10 for her model. I would pay no more than $250 on a used machine period.

Guest- The first post states the model- AUTOSET.
To figure if a machine is over the hill- take the expected life of a machine, which is 5 years and do the math. At 8 hours a night, times 5 years, a machine has a life expectancy of 14,600 hours.

Got it. If any of you folks that gave me valuable input are interested, The machine has 304 total hours on it. It's in better shape than my every day Airsense,
