For me, it going to come down to the size of the total solution. If I still need to lug around a big power brick, then this solution is not worth it. But if you just need a power cord and not an associated power brick, then this could be a winner.

I just got the F&P Brevida yesterday and tried it for the first time last night. It took a few adjustments to get a good seal, but I eventually got one.
