Oscar data disappeared for one daily view
I reviewed my Oscar data for Dec 12 and noticed a 70 minute gap. I called my respiratory therapist on Dec 14 and told him about my issue. He asked for copy of Dec 12 data. I then bookmarked time gap. I then took my scan disc and inserted into laptop to review Dec 13 data, which came up. Then when I ...

Re: Heated hose management- huge leaking-help
What do you feel when you feel the 'heavy' hose? Does it lay across your throat? Across your chest? Wants to pull you out of bed as it drapes over to your machine or pull your mask adrift? Are you sure it's the hose and not side-pressure on the head gear that's displacing the mask? Could it be some...

Heated hose management- huge leaking-help
I have been having huge leaks, terrible bloating from using heated hose with both the Dreamwear nasal pillows as well as my Airfit p10. I use mask liners, but still suffering. The hose is heavy and I am uncertain what else to do re positioning the hose. I sleep on my side. Any advise would be greatly...

Re: Dreamware nasal pillows 50% leaking and feel terrible bloating in a.m
' "- Make sure to use good hose management - the hose should not pull on the mask. Notice how your hose is positioned between machine and mask. It should be positioned to minimize any pull on the mask. Hose management is an individual practice. How it is done depends on the mask, the position of the...

Dreamware nasal pillows 50% leaking and feel terrible bloating in a.m
I have switched from Airfit p10 nasal pillows because my area between my nostrils and in one nostril was getting very raw and also I was tires of the imprint of the strap on my face (I am a side sleeper and seem to stay on one side all night), I use a soft cover for the strap , but I still have a vi...

Re: Large Leaks???? Airfit P10 & AirSense 10 for her
I went through the same scenario as you, used same phillips machine with great results for years, I too use and love the Airfit p10, and had huge leaks with the Airsensense 10. I think the latter is more aggressive in pressure -it drove me crazy, having Sleepyhead report huge leaks.I stopped using t...

Re: International travel is battery required for cpap use
"I'd go prepared to just stay awake. If you happen to find you have power at the seat then great. Go find a flight crew member (preferably one in your zone ) and give them the gold tour of your cpap machine and how it works..." Emirates flight from SF will probably be 15-16 hours. Just use the mach...

Re: International travel is battery required for cpap use
I would cancel and fly with someone else. I've just come back from a trip to the UK. Going over, I had no issues (and slept well) but coming back I was asked to disconnect the machine despite my protestations that this was bad for my health. I won't use Emirates again. Qantas are very happy to let ...

International travel is battery required for cpap use
I am flying internationally with Emirates, and they require use of battery when using cpap on board. I do not want to buy and then carry a battery with me. Do other airlines require this or do they allow you to use a power outlet? I am thinking of trying to cancel my ticket and would appreciate know...
