I'm new and glad to find this site. Had sleep apnea for 6 years. Can someone explain the codes used here, I know about the smilies but not the others. I hope I dont sound to stupid!!
Also,
I have a new machine and my other one is still in excellant condition.
It's a tranquility and I'm wondering if anyone knows someone or somewhere to donate it to. I know they are expensive and I'm fortunate to have a good insurance plan and it paid for the new one.
If has any information please let me know.
Again, i'm glad to find this site

Greetings Linda,

Welcome to cpap.com! This is a great community to share information.

I myself haven't used the codes on this site, but I think it is time for me to learn as well. Perhaps someone who has used them can help us.

As far as donating a cpap, I have donated a cpap to the Kentucky Sleep Society. They fund sleep studies for the uninsured that live in rural counties.

There may be a Sleep Society in your area. Your sleep lab may know .

I commend you for your generosity.

Regards,

Ted

Welcome Linda,

In the left column where it says options click on blue BBcode and there is a tutorial on the subject. I'll have to read it myself. Overall this is a very user friendly forum set-up.
Sincerely,
wading thru the muck of the sleep study/DME/Insurance money pit!
