I was diagnose as having mild sleep apnea after my sleep session.
I have been experiencing major sleep problems for about 18 months and I was ready to do anything to get a night's sleep.
My sleep doctor referred me to J & L Medical and they set me up with a Dream Station and a Dreamwear mask which I use for at least 8 hours
a night for 9 days and it was working OK but not great.
I still was getting about 25 clear/obstructive apeneas a night.
I then requested another mask and received a RESMED N10 and it seems to work much better, after 6 nights on that mask I had my first apnea free night.
One of my frustrations is that this company drop this machine on me at their business and said read the manual and see your sleep doctors in a month.
A coach will call me in a couple days and he will work you through it, that coach never called and the phone number only logs voice messages. What a jerk.
I found this site on my own.
The benefits so far are that I don't have to take Lunesta at night and I only have to go to the bathroom once a night.
I get Hypopnea every night, usually around 30, is this normal? I have a auto-adjust unit that is set for pressure between 5 and 15 and the 90% pressure is usually
around 6.4
I refer to the DreamMapper each morning so see my results,( my machine updates the site each day ) is this the software you guys are referring to ?
Is there a way to get more information from this machine than from DreamMapper?
I took this unit for a 60 day trial and I am definitely going to keep using a CPAP machine, wearing the mask all the time while in the bed is not a problem for me.
I am learning a lot on this site and I am open to any suggestions.

You are not apnea free if you are getting 30 hypopneas a night. They are as bad as Apneas. The AHI indicator is a combination of A, H and CAs. You need Sleepyhead Software.
