Hello Magicdave,

I recently started using the myAir app from ResMed. It only tracks sleep data for 30 days, but it reports on usage hours, mask seal, AHI, times the mask is taken off, and provides a "sleep score." I had been using P10 nasal cushions, but the leak rates were increasing, so I just switched to a ResMed F20. This has virtually eliminated leaks, but my AHI has jumped dramatically (last nights' was 30.4 events per hour.) Will be meeting with my sleep doctor next week and will seek advice on how to limit these events.

You might want to use the available software and see exactly what is going on.

If you were for sure asleep when all those events were happening something is definite going wrong with your therapy.
Some people have found that they need more pressure when using a full face mask than they needed with nasal pillows.
You may or may not be one of those people. It all depends on what that AHI is made up of in terms of each event category.
MyAir simply can't offer the detailed data needed when there is a problem and you have a problem.
MyAir works fine for summary glancing at "how I did last night" but when there is a problem you need more details than MyAir can give.

Up to you...learn for yourself or wait for the doctor.
With an AHI of 30 something...I wouldn't be waiting.

I did lay awake for quite a while last night. Since I have the appointment set for next week, I'll try for a couple more nights and see how things go. I certainly appreciate your feedback and recommendations Pugsy! I'll try to update my statistics within the next several days.

Ask someone who works at the NSA ... according to wikileaks, they have apps for recording just about everything.

Just ask them to ship you the files of your bedroom, the ones by your livingroom. Jim
