And to everyone else who ignores these registered regular troll agitators - you have to ask yourself if you are part of the solution or part of the problem by ignoring this degrading childish behavior.

Write to Johnny at cpap dot com not to the unregistered guest who does not have the authority these regular troll agitators will respect or listen to.
Guest... not sure how long you've been here, but if you go back and read through the archives, you'll see that there are many of us who have not ignored the degrading, derailing, childish behavior of various people. Actually, all you have to do is read the link that 49er provided.

Many of us have emailed Johnny numerous times, to no avail. They choose not to get involved. It's become obvious that it's a waste of time to even bother to comment because nothing will be done.

At this point, I agree with 49er and won't be posting in this thread again. I think you'll agree that many of us have helped to derail the OP's thread which unfortunately, is what discussing this subject often does.

Hi shelbyk51, supertiredperson, and All,

You are not the only young/young-ish person on CPAP, but it's hard not to feel that way. Through this forum, I know we're out there, but all of the people I know personally that are on CPAP are at least 10 years older than me. To be honest, turning 40 in January was difficult. And it's not because getting older is a bad thing. It's just hard to accept in that I feel that I've never been able to take advantage of my youth. I haven't been able to have children, we're still trying. On top of that, I think because I had been researching CPAP so much, I started getting targeted ads for the AARP and cataracts surgery. I remember another user posted about how they felt that their youth was "stolen" due to sleep apnea. I can definitely relate to that sentiment and for that reason, I'm so glad that you're starting treatment now.
That being said, it's certainly not easy. I am using a photo of myself on my profile because I want other community members to immediately know when they see my posts that young/young-ish hoseheads are out there, for those who are feeling alone.
Whatever age, we're all here and can help each other. Getting older is great - it certainly beats the alternative. And I hope that I don't pigeon-hole people because of their age - young, mid-life, older, elderly, etc.
On the plus side, I'm sure that CPAP technology and masks have greatly improved over the years, so I do feel grateful for that, and I feel very grateful for this forum. Again that doesn't mean it's easy and I'm sorry you're going through this. I hope that you too can find some comfort, compassion, and camaraderie here to help you along.
