SleepyEyes21 wrote:Excuse me, Pugsy, but I take offense with this post, and your verbally attacking another member. I'd like to suggest you take your problem(s) with Thumper to the 'OT: Time out and/ or Duke it out thread,' which you yourself created on 10/26/16 I believe. In the Time out/ Duke it out thread, you asked ALL forum members NOT to hijack helping threads (especially with newbies so as not to alienate them), and you called out several members at the time for doing so.

I do recall in that OT thread you indicated you yourself had hijacked helping threads in the past, but that 'it takes a lot' to get you to that level. I don't see where in this thread Thumper's reactions could be considered 'a lot,' not to mention he/she was not originally directing comments towards you. Just apologizing to the OP for hijacking his thread isn't enough, in my opinion, and asking him to 'start another' is not a responsible resolution for your inappropriate behavior.

I think you owe all members an apology here, and should continue your disagreement with Thumper elsewhere. Thank you.

Ahh...he might have been referring to you and he might not have (I looked everywhere in the quote below and I can't find you mentioned anywhere)...but you just had to make your little piss ant dig didn't you? I didn't see him quote you or say "guest asshole" or whatever.
Are you sure he was talking to you? Guilty conscience maybe?

It's okay for you to be an ass but not someone else???
Go crawl back under your rock.
And yeah...I know I am being an ass. At least I readily admit it and don't make excuses and blame my bad behavior on someone else.

My apologies to OP Clarkycat for making a mess of your thread. I promise if you start another one with a different question or problem I won't be ugly again. I am done here with this jerk.

Somehow managed to post as a guest instead of under my username -doh! (I do know how to computer, honest)

Could it be the untreated sleep apnea?

I see you are having trouble signing in with you idenity also .... could it be OSA .

Hmmmm Sleepyeyes, you must also be guest/thumper, since you were not even mentioned in this thread but took it upon yourself to take offense at what someone else said or did. "Verrrry Interesting" yes.[/quote]

Hmmm nan.. per your logic you must also be guest/ thumper since you were not even mentioned in this thread but took it upon yourself to take offense at what someone else said or did.

And further (per your logic)- everyone that posted a response/ opinion on this thread must be 'guest/ Thumper' since none of them were mentioned initially by the original guest/ Thumpper.

Forum logic at its best.

this is one confusing thread.

not sure why.

anyways, to the OP...clarkycat,

hope you are doing ok and sticking with the CPAP.

unfortunately, this will likely not be an overnight fix. i'm in a similar boat.

i've been dealing with my issues for probably a decade or more, only recently diagnosed with OSA, only been on CPAP for a few weeks. haven't noticed much of a difference in how i feel, but the data shows i am sleeping better, and i am finally dreaming again...which is a good sign of REM sleep.

hang in there.

if you can, post data from your machine so people here can help you sort out any issues you may be able to address with your pressure settings.

again, good luck and hang in there.

many of us are in the same boat.

cheers
