I am just going by the numbers here. Going by the numbers the leaks are unlikely to be of the magnitude to negatively impact your therapy all that much.
Now are they enough to impact how you might feel....it's possible if those leaks are causing awakenings or arousals that are messing with your sleep quality.
Anytime our sleep quality gets messed up we stand the chance of not feeling so good.
So it's possible...is it a for sure thing...dunno.
I haven't seen any of your reports...there may be other indicators showing up on those reports that might explain some of the grogginess. If you can't figure out how to post an image of the report send me a private messaged and I will get you my email address and you can email the image to me and I can see if there is anything else that might be part of the problem. Not everything is easily seen like the AHI and leak numbers. There can be other issues that we can't tell anything about until we see the detailed reports.

We can also have any number of other things causing us to get hit by that morning grogginess monster.
Mine is mainly in late afternoon and usually if I don't get enough hours of sleep. My sleep is always fragmented some what due to other health issues but for the most part if I get decent hours of sleep and keep the fragmentation to a minimum I feel quite decent.

Some other things to look at.
Those hours of sleep and are those hours fragmented...and if you are having some wake ups...any idea why?
Also if you take any medications...look closely for potential side effects that might either mess with sleep quality or cause drowsiness during the day.
Other health conditions that might mess with sleep quality? Pain, etc?

Thanks. I'd like to send screen shots to you -- just tell me what to send. I was told I have pain in my sleep (in fact lately hip pain woke me up two times in the last six months, but that's not a lot. You can send me your email and I'll take a snapshot of whatever's necessary. Thank you ... you're an angel.

Yes, these are great photos. Thanks! Is it a heavy mask? One of the things I like
about the DreamWear is that it's light weight!
No, it's not heavy at all. I used the Hybrid mask for many years. When I tried the Amara View, it was like night and day (no pun intended). The chin cup on the Hybrid (one of my favorite features of that mask) makes it a lot heavier.

I can't guarantee that you will like it but it's worth trying and you can try it without losing money and being stuck with someone you just hate.
What screenshots can I send? And what's the name of the company that takes returns (and how many returns)? I'd like to find out how many sizes Amera has and how much it costs. Thanks.

Examples of what is needed in the screen shots can be seen in this thread.

Our forum hosts... cpap.com
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/pr-ama ... -pack.html
Get the fitpack...comes with all 3 sizes.
I don't know how many times that a person returns something ends up being an abuse of the system but pretty sure that it is more than 3 or 4. I think they look more for a pattern than a number.

I am looking for the new mask that I can try. I sent my sleep medicine doctor about the F&P Brevida nasal pillow. He said he hasn't heard of any his patients with that mask. He said my small lower jaw pb that I can't wear a full mask (I can't stand the amara view ffm). Nasal pillow is a better fit but some model could cause nose irritation. So he suggested dreamWear. I am looking for the extra quiet (like p10) and soft one (like the nuance gel pillow). I checked the dreamwear, the nose cushion looks like the amara view, the nose just sit on top of the cushion. Does that mean the dreamwear could have the big leaking problem as the amara did to me? Is that quiet or noise? I can't sleep when it's not quiet. If it can't meet those two keys, then I will still ask him to prescribe the Brevida for me after 90 days.

Possibly since they both work on the same principle.
mibbim wrote:Is that quiet or noise?
The DreamWear isn't going to be nearly as quiet as the P10. I can tell you that with absolute certainty.

Now the Brevida...is as quiet as the P10.

I think from what you have said about your own personal needs and preferences is that the Brevida stands a greater chance of meeting those needs than the DreamWear does.
