Not true. I've used some re-washed Remzzz for over a month straight and never had that happen... not even close. I hand-wash them in very hot soapy water then rinse - next I pat them semi-dry with a towel then spread them on a clean plate to dry all afternoon. Works great every time with no ironing, tho lots of folks like to do that.

Not to pump new blood into an old tired thread, however, it's okay to promote some small to medium businesses here (nothing huge tho) - lots do it. Sleepguy, Padacheek, the Remzzz gal, Ian from Accurate BioMed, to name a few... probably dozens more. I like to see them spread the word about new or clever products/services, plus the Goodman's (our kind sponsors) don't tend to mind if they don't get too heavy-handed with the spam slinging.

I did't use the Spam button but SNO if you had looked in his signature line it did seem his business and comment was questionable. I didn't click on the links for fear of what I might find.

Yeah, I guess I see the point now after looking at the signature line which you pointed out... on the edge of being inappropriate. It was sort of nonsensical anyway which is always a tip-off for spam. I blacked out the links:

Serging the edge with fuzzy nylon makes a nice soft edge.
Fuzzy nylon could also be used to hand sew an overcast edge.
Fray-Chek might be too scratchy.
Some fleeces are naturally non-raveling.
Easy DIY works in a pinch; more work for a lasting result.
Or you can buy a liner.

Huh, wha'd you just say?

If you don't plan to wash your home-made liners, no need to worry about the edges falling apart.

Why the hostility to an "old thread?" Have things changed dramatically? If the info is still usefull, great, it was to me.
