Yes, a sleeping schedule like you describe can cause difficulty sleeping. But, it should not cause your AHI to be so high. You should listen to Setj and work with some forum members to optimize your CPAP process.

schedule has little to do with the numbers while sleeping.

Perhaps you should talk to member Sheriff, he was a detective and said he was called out at every hour of the night, and sometimes was out for a couple of days straight...with NO sleep. He managed quite well, I'm sure his schedule was worse that yours and we never ever saw him complain about it. Excuses are many, if you don't want to use your machine, I'm sure you'll find one that works for you...... until you have passed away with a heart attack or severe diabetes. As others have said, work with this group and you will optimize your therapy, with or without your schedule. PM sheriff if you want to find out how he made out, or perhaps he will be online soon and talk to you.

I will add that the days listed here with the AHI at 3.X have been days I've used meletonin or other sleep aid meds.

DreamMapper is pretty much useless. You can get the same limited information off the machine's LCD screen.
What you need to know is the breakdown into each event category that makes up that AHI....
So how much is the ClearAirway/Central Index?
How much is the Obstructive Apnea Index?
How much is the Hyponea Index?

You need to use the available software
https://sleep.tnet.com/equipment
to get each index along with some other data that isn't available on the machine LCD screen like snores, RERAs and flow limitations (depending on what mode you are using).

You would think so, but sort of related, after I got diagnosed and was on successful CPAP therapy I found out that no one would underwrite me for term life insurance. Even though I was diagnosed, on successful therapy and less likely to die.
I had two very young sons at the time and wanted to get a 15 year term at least $500million. I suppose I could always not disclose on the application but if a payout was necessary I suspect they would refuse.
