DH you might be on to something.

Possible range of topics:

How to define long-term users. 1 year, 5 year, 10 year or more
Use a CPAP humidifier, don't use a humidifier
Use a CPAP humidifier with heat or use it in passover mode.
Best room temperature to keep.
What setting on the CPAP humidifier
Heated hose or no heated hose
Regular hose length, or longer hose length
Distilled water from the store, big box store, your own distiller, imported from mexico
Best time to sleep, before 9pm, before midnight, sometime around 1am. Only when you are tired
When is the best time to eat food. How do you eat it, with fingers, tools, alone, with company
Let the DME program your CPAPke , program it on your own.
Use a sleep doctor, don't use a sleep doctor. Use a primary doctor or vet

This could be endless.. Perhaps you should start a blog
Krevlin, now you've gone and done it, I don't think he needed any more suggested topics to start
Doggone it Kevin, you done gone and reloaded D.H.'s Fodder Cannon, he has to ask these stupid things, because he can't think and reason on his own. Not that he will get any good out of his questions, he's still going to do as he think, if he ever thinks. Jim

Do any long term users like the ramp (newbies should not answer)?
Why don't you just decide to leave the DME out of it and take charge of your own life?

I turned mine off early on ... absolute waste of time. I'm usually out in zzzzzz land within about 10 minutes of putting my mask on.

When I first started @ 16cm I used a ramp of 45 min sometimes repeatedly pushing the ramp button to get another 45. Now I can't remember the last time I used ramp. But I also used a heated hose when I first started as I couldn't stand what I thought was cold. These days its just passover unless it is winter. But during the summer I wish I had ice cubes.

btw the room these days is no warmer than 60 if I can help it.

Why does that surprise you?
Haven't you learned by now that everything, and I mean everything, about cpap therapy comes with a really big YMMV sticker.
you must have forgotten who you're asking that question of....

someone that's never learned ANYTHING. to learn, one has to be able to THINK.
