Re: F30 vs F30i Mask
The small frame is perfect for me for the F30i. However, I started with a small cushion for my F30i but it was too small. I changed to the SW cushion size (small wide). It works perfectly. I would say if you are currently using a small frame, you will stick with a small frame, but you may need to go...

Re: F30i Cushion Size for small size users
I would think this would be true for any mask/cushion. if the edge of the cushion is resting on the corners of your mouth & causing sores or is leaking from the corners of your mouth, you need to go up one cushion size. I realized based on this experience that the size guides that come with your mas...

Re: F30 vs F30i Mask
I have used both. the F30i is the best. /With the f30i, zero to very infrequent leaks. All masks have the potential to leak if you move just the right way or are more active than normal or you have the wrong cushion size. One note: On the F30, the small cushion was perfect. On the F30i, the small cu...

F30i Cushion Size for small size users
I finally settled on the F30i mask & really love it because it is the only mask that seals for me without needing liners. I ordered the small frame & small cushion because that is the size I needed for all my previous masks. The small frame is perfect, but I was getting mouth sores at the corner of ...

Re: Airfit F30i Users - Longevity
I am not having any leaking issues with mine. I am on my second mask, but only by choice. I like refreshing every 3 months. The original mask is over 6 months & it never leaked. Have had my new mask about a week. so far so good.

Re: Best Mask for High Pressures....
the only masks (nasal & FF) that doesn't leak for me at all, not even with high pressure of 20, is Resmed F30 & F30i. if you haven't tried those, I would advise it. I prefer the F30i only because of preferred hose placement (head vs nose). The F30 was an excellent fitting mask for me, but I got tang...

Re: Mask Seal leakage with Airfit F30i
I have had good luck with my F30i mask , no leaks at all. I use a small frame with small cushion. Maybe your frame or cushion size is too large or too small?

Re: Covid-19, CPAP cleaning regimen
a lot of us on this forum are at least 60 and above and have breathing, immune system, & other health issues that does make this a scary situation, but I don't agree with hoarding toilet paper & cleaning supplies, but I do understand it's based on fear & panic. We can't even rely on a Sears & Roebuc...

Re: Covid-19, CPAP cleaning regimen
well, my cleaning regimen has changed because I can't find a single disinfectant wipe including baby wipes in a 10 mile radius. (area around where I live & work). I am not willing to try longer trips desperately searching for any and all wipes. I haven't tried ordering online yet, but don't think I ...

Re: Dry mouth
I bumped my humidification from 4 to 5 last night and that seemed to help, and I had no rain out, so will leave it at level 5 for awhile to see if that is enough.

Re: Dry mouth
dry mouth happens with full face masks as well, because you breathe through your nose & mouth. I prefer full face and have gotten used to having a dry mouth. I have never tried those lozenges suggested. I will definitely order them.

Re: How much does mouth taping help?
definitely get the surgery. you will feel better, breathe easier. My Sister had a deviated septum & the surgery helped her a great deal. Breathing better is important. To my knowledge, she is not on CPAP therapy. You will likely still need CPAP after the surgery, but your CPAP therapy should be more...

Re: How much does mouth taping help?
I am glad I tolerate full face masks well. Not the kind that goes over my nose, but the kind that goes under the nose & covers the mouth. I have found the F30 & F30i the best fit for me and both feel like I am wearing a nasal mask with chin strap. I tried to like nasal masks. I was hoping a nasal ma...

I am just saying.. 5 years is when I am eligible for Medicare. I realize they will pay for a new machine when I become eligible, regardless of when I bought my current machine.

Re: I dropped my sleep Dr.
didn't mean to be confusing. Tricare will require me to have a follow up appointment in order for them to pay for a new machine. The earliest I can get one using insurance is next year. (3 year point). I was lamenting that I have not been followed up after my first 90 day visit, so I can get a follo...
