You can't get the flu from the vaccination.
The vaccine is made from an inactivated virus that can't transmit infection. So people who get sick after receiving a flu vaccination were going to get sick anyway. It takes a week or two to get protection from the vaccine. But people assume that because they got sick after getting the vaccine, the shot caused their illness.

My doctor took the flu shot once and got the flu in just a few days, said he would never take the shot again. Myself I've never taken one.
There are multiple strains of the flu, and getting a flu shot when your immune system is down could leave you open to getting a cold or flu. So, while the vaccine did not give the flu, it may have been a bad time to give it.
Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

"a few days" - There is the problem. It takes about 14 days for the body to build antibodies to a good level. What kind of damn doctor doesn't know this? A PhD in gender studies?

Oh, great, an anti-vaxx doctor. That stupid idiot would never see me in his office.

When my dad had cancer this doctor made house calls so he didn't have to get to the office and closed for the funeral. I trust him with my life

you're a fool to trust someone with your life on those criteria.
the man is obviously caring and kind. unfortunately that has no correlation whatsoever to competent and smart.
