Question about parts

Post by ferafaces » Wed Feb 22, 2017 9:38 pm

I own a ResMed AirSense 11 (I think, if I'm reading my paperwork properly, but it's really not an issue for this question) and have been using it for 3 years now. Without going into the full story, the company that did my set up didn't do the paperwork properly and so my information is not in the equipment replacement system.

I've been looking for a new frame - JUST the frame - for a Mirage FX headset, and I can't seem to find JUST the single item anywhere. I don't mind spending more for a full set, but I'm afraid that it won't come with the frame.

I guess what I'm getting at is... is there a good equipment site or phone number that's not too expensive that might have just the frame? I've tried on Amazon and cpap.com and I can't seem to find anything on either. Any tips or hints would be helpful.

Thank you muches ahead of time,

Fera

Have you checked https://www.cpap.com? I see two parts offered, the mask and the headgear, offered separately.

I did see that, and the mask assembly. But I'm not sure which, if any, would include the frame - the last time I ordered a mask, it didn't come with the frame. I just don't want to order something and not get the one thing that I truly need.

This would be what we could commonly call the "frame"
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/mirage ... y-kit.html
The hard plastic shell part of the mask.
The other 2 components are the cushion and the headgear...those 3 parts add up to a complete mask.

This is the full/whole mask package set up
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/Resmed ... dgear.html
Package includes...headgear, cushion and the plastic shell frame.
For $30 more you get new everything.
